Note: ELACs meet together monthly as a DELAC
What is DELAC?
This committee meets regularly during the year to review and monitor programs for our English Language Learners. Among the responsibilities are:
• to assist in developing school plans for English Learners
• to conduct an annual needs assessment
• to prepare an annual language census report
• to advise the District regarding redesignation procedures
If you have a child attending our District English Language Development program, or are simply interested in becoming involved in what our District's ELL services are, then please join us.

¿QUE ES' DELAC?
El Distrito de Las Lomitas invita a todos los padres a una reuñion para aprender más sobre nuestro Comité Consejero del Programa Estatal para Alumnos Aprendiendo Inglés (DELAC).
Estos comités, uno para cada escuela, se junta regularmente durante el año para aconsejar, examinar y comentar sobre los servicios y programas para los alumnos EL. Algunas de las tareas son:
• Ayudar en establecer un plan educativo para los alumnos EL.
• Conducir una evaluación de necesidades para cada escuela.
• Preparar el reporte del censo annual de lenguaje.
• Examinar y comentar acerca del procedimiento para la reclasificación.
Si tiene un hijo/a quien asiste a nuestro programa ELD, o solamente tiene interés en saber más sobre estos servicios, por favor vengan a la reuñion. Se ofrece guarderia para los niños.
