Bilingual Buddies

The Bilingual buddy program provides English language learning families with help and support.  Volunteers are available to assist you with translation of school information and forms, and to answer school related questions you may have.  Listed below are some of the languages our Bilingual Buddies speak:

ELD Program Summary

These documents outline the benchmarks for end-of-year achievement for English Learners in the area of Language Arts.  They are arranged by grade.  Within each grades’ descriptor, you will find the target based on the students English proficiency level, as well as the curriculum used at each level.

All English learners are also expected to make one level growth on the California English Language Development Test (i.e. Beginner to Early Intermediate, or Intermediate to Early Advanced).
