What it is:
Extremely high quality voices are part of these sites and you don't have to do anything to get them to read. They are designed for younger readers.
Classroom Examples:
Starfall.com provides talking animated lessons with the alphabet, phonics, and materials for early to advanced beginning readers. It's designed for 1st grade but can be used preK-2nd.

Storyline Online has 17 books read by members of the Screen Actors Guild, selected to appeal to children.Offered free of charge, these imaginatively produced videos fully capture the intricate illustrations, colors and textures of each book. Storyline Online also includes a supplemental activities section developed by an Early Literacy curriculum specialist. The videos and related activities strengthen comprehension, verbal and written skills of English language learners worldwide.
